The RER Cheetah utilizes proven suspension geometry from the 1990 thru 1996 Corvette C4. We provide the custom trailing arms and rocker assemblies. The Corvette suspension is readily available from multiple sources.
C4 Corvette suspension with coil-over shocks
RER designed the suspension to use coil-over shocks. There are many suppliers that manufacture suitable dampers. The transverse leaf springs from the Corvette are not used.
RER suggests replacing the stock rear toe alignment device with a stronger, easier to use rod-end style. Stock strut rods can be used or replaced with rod-ends. All cantilever components are supplied by RER.
